EQ-i 2.0 for Students

The skill your degree does not teach you

Grades and internships get you the interview. How you read a room, handle pressure, and work with people you did not choose is what decides the rest. Find out where you actually stand.

Know your strengths before the interview

The EQ-i 2.0 gives you a measured read on 15 skills employers screen for but rarely name: self-awareness, stress tolerance, assertiveness, empathy. You walk out able to talk about your strengths with evidence instead of adjectives.

A one-hour debrief, not a score sheet

We sit down together and go through your results line by line, so you understand what they mean for the work you want and the people you will be working with. You leave with a written development plan and a few things to practice.

What you get, and what it costs

The EQ-i 2.0 Intro for Students is $176. That covers the full MHS EQ-i 2.0 assessment, a personalized report across all 15 subskills, a one-hour one-on-one debrief with me, and a written development plan with specific things to work on.

Sessions are virtual, so it does not matter where you are studying. If you are not sure it is right for you, book a free 30-minute call first and we will figure that out together.

Do I need to be a student at a particular school?

No. The student rate is open to anyone currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, anywhere. Sessions are virtual.

How do I get started?

Book a free 30-minute discovery call using any of the buttons on this page. We talk through what you are hoping to get out of it, and if the assessment makes sense I send you the link to complete it before our debrief.

Is this worth it if I already know I am not great with people?

That is usually the best reason to do it. Emotional intelligence is a set of skills, not a fixed trait, and the assessment shows you which specific ones to work on rather than leaving you with a vague sense that you should be better at people.

Find out where you stand

Thirty minutes, no cost, no pressure. We talk about where you are headed and whether the EQ-i 2.0 would actually help you get there.
